At Nichols Orthodontics + Aesthetics, we are committed to providing an exceptional patient experience while respecting the time of every individual and family we serve. To maintain an efficient schedule and avoid delays for other patients, we have established the following late arrival policy.
Patients are expected to arrive on time for all scheduled appointments. We encourage allowing additional travel time to account for traffic, construction, or other unforeseen delays.
In rare or unavoidable circumstances, we may be able to hold your appointment for up to 10 minutes past the scheduled start time. This is not a guaranteed grace period and is extended at the discretion of the office based on the day’s schedule and clinical requirements.
If a patient arrives more than 10 minutes late, we reserve the right to reschedule the appointment to a later date or modify or shorten the planned treatment to prevent delays for subsequent patients. Modified or shortened appointments may result in an extension of overall treatment time.
Multiple instances of tardiness may result in additional fees and/or adjustments to future scheduling availability. While many practices implement automatic late fees, we have intentionally avoided blanket penalties. However, consistent late arrivals affect other patients and the overall clinic schedule.
Ongoing construction in the surrounding area, particularly along Ellsworth Road, may impact travel times. We strongly recommend planning alternate routes and allowing additional time for arrival until roadway improvements are completed.
If you anticipate running late, please contact our office as soon as possible. Our team will make every effort to guide you on next steps.
